Davines was founded in Parma, Italy, back in 1983, by Mr. Gianni and Mrs. Silvana Bollati. The Company starts its journey as a research laboratory specializing in manufacturing top quality products for hair and skin. In 1993 the Davines is born as a brand of beauty products intended for professional customers.

Davines has been certified a B Corp since 2016. It is a company certified for its positive impact on the people and the environment. It pursues objectives that go beyond profit, starting from a regenerative, more inclusive and sustainable socio-economic model, which creates and redistributes value among all stakeholders.

100% of the electricity used in the Davines Village production site derives from renewable sources. We abandoned the use of fossil gas, replaced by bio-methane and geothermal energy.

Davines Village offices are 100% Carbon Neutral, 0% of the Village waste goes to dumping grounds and 100% of waste is recycled or recovered.

Being part of the change it also means our constant commitment on creating the most sustainable as possible products. When we are developing a products we want to ensure a HIGH QUALITY formula with sustainable features including sustainable: Packaging, Formula, Ingredients, Services and Life Cycle.

Wherever possible, we choose recycled packaging, ensure our products are made from the highest percentage of natural and biodegradable ingredients, focus on sourcing for sustainable ingredients with traceability, compensate for the carbon footprint of our operations and products, as well as projects and campaigns to support sustainability – globally or locally.
